Designing Spaces, Brands, and Experiences
Crafted with Intention | Rooted in Community | Built to Last
We operate on a simple belief: the best work happens when things are made thoughfully, through collaboration. We approach every project — whether a home, a brand, or a public space, with the same level of care, curiosity, and attention to detail.
Our studio brings together architecture, graphic design, and experiential development under one umbrella, allowing ideas to move seamlessly from concept to reality.

Projects begin with a conversation. Let’s talk through goals, constraints, and opportunities to determine the right scope and approach.
About
Small Batch Design was built on the idea that good design—whether it’s a building or a brand—should feel intentional, crafted, and a little different.
I’m Owen Cobb, an architect and designer based in Kansas City with over a decade of experience across residential, commercial, and large-scale development projects. My background includes work on everything from custom homes and multifamily communities to national retail and industrial projects, giving me a strong foundation in both design and execution.
Through Small Batch Design, I bring that same level of detail and thinking into graphic design—creating brand identities, merchandise, and visual assets for businesses that want to stand out. My work is heavily influenced by Kansas City culture and a hands-on, “built not templated” approach.
Whether I’m designing a home or a T-shirt, the goal is the same: create something thoughtful, functional, and memorable.
